We, the founders, recognized the pressing environmental concerns and the role electric vehicles could play in mitigating them. With this vision in mind, eBikeGo was born, armed with the aim of offering practical and accessible electric mobility solutions.

Hari: eBikeGo is at the forefront of reshaping India's transportation landscape. Our core principles involve redefining mobility for individuals to thrive in the evolving world of transportation. We are closely following and participating in key industry trends, including battery swapping solutions, IoT integration to enhance user experience, and the emergence of Electric Mobility as a Service (eMaaS) platforms. These trends reflect the evolving landscape of electric mobility, and we are keen to integrate them into EbikeGo’s offerings.

eBikeGo recently announced a partnership with Acer. Could you share the goals and objectives of this collaboration?

Hari: The primary goal of this partnership is to elevate eBikeGo’s product features through the infusion of Acer's technological expertise and to create smart and connected scooters. This entails integrating cutting-edge technology into eBikeGo's electric vehicles. The ultimate goal is to improve the overall user experience for eBikeGo customers.

The partnership with WHILL focuses on providing accessible mobility solutions for individuals with disabilities, with a particular emphasis on enhancing accessibility and independence. The goal is to create tailored mobility solutions that cater to the unique needs of this user group.

Are there plans to integrate WHILL’s mobility products or technologies with eBikeGo’s offerings? If so, what can you share about these plans?

Hari: There are plans to potentially adapt WHILL’s technology for eBikeGo’s scooters, making them more suitable for people with reduced mobility. This could involve incorporating features that enhance accessibility and ease of use.

Additionally, we have launched the WHILL personal mobility vehicle, this further extends our commitment to accessible and sustainable mobility solutions.

How does eBikeGo envision contributing to India’s electrification and green mobility goals in the coming years?

Hari: eBikeGo is actively planning to increase the number of electric vehicles in their fleet. This expansion means more electric scooters and other electric vehicles on the road, providing consumers with a broader range of options to choose from. We are also planning to integrate renewable energy sources and actively engage in policy advocacy to create a more favorable environment for sustainable transportation.
