Follow these simple steps to get a perfect winter make-up look
Celebrity make-up artist Puja Taluja share steps to get an exclusive winter look for any occasion.

The key to winter make-up is a flawless dewy skin, suggest Celebrity make-up artist Puja Taluja. One needs to ensure that their skin is hydrated. In a bid to enhance and compliment your features during the dull, foggy weather in winters, the make-up artist suggests some simple make-up steps which will transform your look for any occasion in winters.

Step1. Follow with a citrus-based colour corrector to counteract under eye with blue or purple undertones and neutralise any unwanted red tones, such as spots and blemishes. Use in conjunction with the apricot shade to further brighten and make the skin tone even.

Step2. Next, apply a light-reflecting sheer liquid foundation and use a concealer wherever required. If you have a particularly oily t-zone, dust with translucent powder to set.

Step3. Further, apply a blend of sandy beige and pink powder blush to the apples of the cheeks and blend along the cheekbone. To add some extra warmth to the skin, finish with a light dusting of bronzer along the edges of the face and gently across the bridge of the nose, where the sunlight would naturally fall.

Step4. Brush on neutral beige eye shadow and blend shimmery mocha eye shadow on top, working it from the lash line to the socket crease. To play with a sultry look, blend plum eye shadow into the hollow of the socket focusing on the outer corners.

Step5. Using a fine eyeliner brush, apply a thin line of shimmery mocha shadow just under the roots of the lower lashes and blend well, to touch in the inner corners and to open up the eyes.

Step6. Draw along the upper lash line with a black eyeliner pencil and thicken the line gradually from the middle of the eyelid towards the outer corner of the eye, extending it slightly beyond the eye and curving it upwards to create a subtle flick. Draw along the inner rim of the lower eyelid to elongate the eye. Curl lashes and apply mascara.

Step7. Apply silky lip gloss in shell pink for a touch of colour and a glossy finish. One can experiment with trendy bright colours like pink, red and orange. The key to winter make-up is a flawless dewy skin, suggest Celebrity make-up artist Puja Taluja.
