?German cosmetic brand, BeYu plans to launch 300 stores by March 2018

German premium cosmetic brand, BeYu from the ARTDECO group, aims to launch 300 stores by end of FY 2017-18. Out of these 300 stores, BeYu will launch 20 company owned and 280 shop-in-shop stores, BeYu India spokesperson said.

In March 2017, Be Yu entered Delhi in a partnership with Kaunis Marketing Services. The brand which has presence in 40 countries globally is looking to have its stores in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata among other.

Ajay Ghooli, Managing Director, Kaunis Marketing Services, said, "By the end of this year BeYu plans to have approximately 300 stores across cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata."

Kaunis, the India partner for BeYu, has tied up with retail chains including New U, Lifestyle, Health & Glow and Central to make the products available to the market.

Following the partnership, Kaunis will build BeYu’s presence in India to make its products available in all major cities.

Ghooli said, "India holds the promise of being one of the fastest growing beauty markets. The Indian beauty market is pegged at Rs 45000 crore out of which color cosmetics is around 10 to 12%. The demand for premium beauty brands is growing and hence there is tremendous potential for cosmetic brands to enter and grow in our country."
