Label Ritu Kumar Onboards Shanaya Kapoor as its New Face

Label Ritu Kumar has onboarded Bollywood youth icon Shanaya Kapoor as its new face, continuing the #JustDanceWithLabel series. The new Autumn Winter’21 collection, launched simultaneously, is presented as a dance ensemble and continues in the tradition of the brands’ #JustDanceWithLabel series.

Amrish Kumar, Managing and Creative Director, Ritu Kumar, saiid, “Shanaya’s bold, joyful spirit is infectious on the screen. She has a great sense of style and being a natural dancer, she was the ideal face for LABEL.”

Commenting on the association, Shanaya maintained, “Label Ritu Kumar is the epitome of being spontaneous & stylish mixed with a little fun and embraces my edgy yet carefree vibe extremely well. It’s all about being comfortable in your own skin and that’s what I believe in most. I’m very grateful and super excited to be the face for the brand!”

In the campaign video, she sports 3 key looks from the Autumn Winter’21 Collection – floral printed velvet dress with a floral printed velvet crop jacket; floral printed velvet dress with a studded tie-up waist belt; and a sequin dress.

This season, the label is also introducing athleisure as a core line in a printed and solid co-ords. Simple, functional and on-trend, these twin sets bridge the gap between comfort and fun.

The season will also see us launch a collection replete with diaphanous lace, cut-work and florals in cosy fabrics like suede, jacquard and knits. The rich colour palette presents a new take on deep blues and greens along with warm tones of rose, mustard and yellow.

In denims category, it is planning to launch new shapes and figure-flattering fits in paper bag waist and wide leg styles. Keeping in with the season, Label will introduce all-new printed puffers, cute pullovers, and textured stoles and scarves that are perfect to keep one warm during the long winter months.
