The Body Shop flexes brand presence, opens second store in Indore
The Body Shop has 145+ stores, spread across 44 cities in India with competing brands like Kama Ayurveda, L’Occitane, Forrest Essentials and various others.

As per the recent reports, Indore stands 5th in the list of top business destinations of the country in terms of infrastructure, human capital, city culture and basic quality of living. Beating cities like Ahmedabad, Indore remained on top with Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune, according to a survey conducted by Global Initiative for Restructuring Environment and Management (GIREM) and real estate consultancy firm DTZ.

With an aim to tap adequate business opportunities existing in the city, iconic global retailer of cosmetics and toiletries- The Body Shop has expanded its retail presence in Indore by opening its second standalone store at Treasure Island Mall.

Announcing the same, Atul Nayar, Brand Director, The Body Shop India said, “The Body Shop believes in going beyond conventional corporate social responsibility and engaging in ground breaking campaigns driving for long-term change.Indore is a very vibrant city and with the second store, we are hopeful that we will continue to delight our consumers with more enhanced customer service and new range of products.”

The Body Shop newly opened store offers a wide range of 100 per cent vegetarian products across Skin Care, Bath and Body, Make-Up, Hair, Fragrance, Men's grooming and Gifting products.

Apart from the fabulous products, the store also offers specialist services like skin care consultation and make-up application.

Significantly, the brand offers a Customer Loyalty program titled as ‘Love Your Body’ for a nominal fee and they will be able to enjoy fantastic member benefits, year round discounts, member's special offers, VIP access to all important brand events and many other privileges throughout the year.

Currently present in 44 cities across India, The Body Shop has over 145 stores in the country successfully running in malls, shopping centres, high streets, department stores and airports.
