This is How CBSE is Building Capable Students Force & Preparing Itself to Tackle Future Challenges
In the 9th Edition of the Indian Education Congress saw the participation of renowned businessmen from the education sector, investors and aspiring edupreneurs.
Dr. Biswajit Saha, Director (Training & Skill Education), CBSE, who supervises and guides Teachers training activities through 14 CBSE Centers of Excellence situated in various parts of the country was also present at the event as one of the chief guests to guide the mass of participants and guests.
In a conversation with Franchise India Media, he spelled out the plans of CBSE in building capable students force for the upcoming challenges in terms of employment and entrepreneurship.

How CBSE is preparing students for future challenges in the education industry?
Dr. Biswajit says, “We are preparing our teachers and focusing on the teachers training mainly to ensure the quality in teaching and curriculum transactions in the school. A huge number of choices is given to the students so that means based on their interest, they can choose any subjects including the skill subjects both at secondary and senior secondary level which will help them face the future challenges as well as become future ready. Right after 10+2, we are preparing in the way that they are competent enough even by any compulsion they want to do any sort of job, if those students who are taking skill-based subjects, for them it is quite easy to take up maybe a ground level job right after 10+2 also.”
What are the new developments you are experiencing in the education business right now or you foresee in the near future?
He adds, “There are more and more technological interventions as well as other challenges in terms of infrastructure because CBSE is catering only 21, 000 schools but the country has more than 2 lakh schools. And quality teachers are a huge challenge for any country and retaining quality teachers in a good school is another challenge. But with the help of technology, and with digital literacy platforms, whether it is Swayam or Diksha platforms, we are creating enormous resources. And that will gradually help the teachers to become independent in whatever education they chose to teach, as well as it will help in developing new ideas or new ways of teaching to train the students accordingly.
Do you think CBSE is building itself capable enough to tackle the competition since there are a lot of foreign brands as well as domestic players mushrooming every day?
Biswajit responds to this as: We are working for our prospective plans form 2030 and our main focus is towards quality education. However as a national progressive board if we can retain the quality of education that we offer then we could be the best player in the Indian market.”
