Realizing the importance of technology in education, IIT Madras recently took a major step in boosting Artificial Intelligence and machine learning sectors in Chennai.
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras underwent a major process promoting Artificial Intelligence and machine learning sectors by organizing a conclave focusing on understanding the cutting edge technology and innovation. The top technology firms were seen participating including companies Google, Amazon, Foxconn, TVS Group and others.
The rise of Artificial Intelligence & Machine learning ecosystem
The conclave aimed towards creating a greater realization about the Artificial Intelligence and machine learning ecosystem. The conclave facilitated the stakeholders to have a brainstorming session about the needs for this ecosystem to thrive and grow further.
Prof B. Ravindran, Head, Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and AI, IIT Madras, said, “The energy and enthusiasm from the participants showed how vibrant the AI/ML community is in Tamil Nadu. As an outcome of this event, we are looking to accelerate the Government-Industry-Academia partnership in developing the AI/ML ecosystem."
Technology invading business sectors
The conclave turned out to be a great success as more than 250 attendees attended the event. It was a great platform for several designated people including government officials, business leaders, students etc where they shared emerging trends transforming the education industry.

Also, best practices of companies world over, that are using AI in their digital transformation journey.
