Vakrangee enters into alliance with Blue Dart For Pan India Logistics

Vakrangee has partnered with Blue Dart Express to offer last mile courier and logistics services on a pan India basis through its wholly owned subsidiary Vakrangee Logistics.

Through this arrangement with Blue Dart, the technology company that also provides services related to banking, insurance, e-commerce and e-governance will offer courier pick-up and delivery services through its logistic arm. In the first phase, the collaboration will help roll out last mile delivery services across select locations in Maharashtra which will later be extended to cover the entire network of Vakrangee Kendra across the country.

The alliance will also help premier courier service Blue Dart to expand their footprint to the under-served areas using the network of Vakrangee Kendras that are last mile retail points of sale to connect rural India to modern services and programs like financial inclusion, digital India, skill development, government programs and to access other basic goods and services.

The alliance is banking on Vakrangee's network of 44,000 Vakrangee Kendras across the country to take the services of both logistics companies to the hinterlands.
