Vijay Shah Flags Off World On Wheels To Educate School Children Learn Computers
The school education minister Kunwar Vijay Shah flagged off World on Wheels on Saturday.

The bus is specially designed to carry 20 computers on the go, with full internet connectivity. This step has been taken in order to educate children about the computers, which is essential in the modern time.

Addressing the event organized by State Open School Education Board, Vijay Shah says, “ World on Wheels will play a major role in the Digital India Programme to impart education to school children, especially those belonging to the rural areas.”

The bus worth around 1 crore presented to the State Open School Education Board by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India will be used as a computer mobile lab, moving from place to place, educating children.

Shah adds, “The bus will visit schools in the villages. Information transfer is not possible without proper computer education.”

PR Tiwari, Director, SOSE shares “The bus aims to increase digital literacy and build professional learning communities for high school and higher secondary school teachers in the state.”
