Helmet manufacturer firm Sandhar Amkin goes global, launches Mavox Helmets in Nepal

Sandhar Amkin Industries, the home-grown two-wheeler helmet manufacturer company, has ventured into the international market with the introduction of its maiden helmet range Mavox in Nepal.

This is the first time the company is entering into a market outside India with an investment of Rs 250 million.

Ayyushman Mehta, Managing Director, Mavox Helmets, Sandhar Amkin Industries, said, “Considering the emerging markets of Nepal with a great deal of potential, it was a natural progression to enter the helmet segment here. We have appointed a distributor in Nepal to further expand our dealer network in the country.”

“Nepal market marks the inception of our international journey & we plan to enter South East Asia and neighboring countries as these too are emerging markets with lots of potentials,” Mehta added.

The Gurugram-headquartered company’s expansion comes in line with ‘growth spurt’ and the need for high-quality two-wheeler helmets.

Sandhar Amkin Industries was started in India in the first quarter of 2019 with a manufacturing capacity of more than 2 million helmets per annum in their Manesar plant.
