These will be the 16th and 17th brand outlets in the country, after covering key locations like Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

Tupperware, a global premium homeware brand based out of Orlando, US, opened its exclusive brand outlets in Mumbai, bringing the total count up to seventeen in a short span of three months. These outlet launches are a part of the brand’s transformation from a direct-selling brand to opening multiple channels of sale, to serve latent demand.

The brand outlets located in Phoenix Marketcity and S.V. Road, Borivali are spread across 300 sq ft & 540 sq ft, respectively. The newly introduced outlets focus on demonstrating a wide array of products, through innovative customer engagement zones.

Deepak Chhabra, Managing Director, Tupperware India, said, “West India is one of the better performing Region for Tupperware, we are excited to open two brand outlets in Phoenix Marketcity and S.V. Road. We have created an immersive retail experience and approached these outlets in a nuanced manner to be able to exceed consumer expectations and offer a delightful experience. I am elated that we will now be more accessible for our consumers in the Maximum city and Mumbaikar’s will have the opportunity to experience and buy our wide range of products at these brand outlets.”

The outlet in Phoenix Marketcity will be run by Outlet Franchisee Ambika Gupta, who has been a part of the Tupperware family for over 13 years. She stated, “Being a part of the Tupperware family has been a great experience for me. Now that the brand is going through an evolution in its selling model, I am excited about becoming a Tupperware franchisee. Being a franchisee and running a Tupperware outlet is like a dream come true.”

The second outlet is located at S.V. Road, a major arterial road in the western suburbs of the city of Mumbai, and will be run by Outlet Franchisee Hiral Chonkar. She added, “Tupperware has been a very significant part of my life, not just professionally but as a life-long consumer as well. The shift that the brand is undergoing is massive and is different from the direct selling model. Having an outlet to showcase all of Tupperware’s products is a step in a positive direction, as people like to try the products out before buying them. I feel that Tupperware outlets will attract more customers and will increase brand visibility.”
