Lemon Tree forays into Kolkata with 142-room hotel

Lemon Tree Hotels has opened a 142-room hotel, Lemon Tree Premier, New Town, in Kolkata. This is the company’s second hotel in the state of West Bengal alter Siliguri.

The new age contemporary hotel has a 24x7 multi-cuisine coffee shop, Citrus Caf; a hip recreation bar, Slounge; the celebrated pan-Asian restaurant, Republic of Noodles; the spa, Fresco; fitness center; swimming pool and large meeting spaces.

With the latest addition, Lemon Tree Hotels is currently operating 58 Hotels, including managed properties across 35 cities in India.

As of June 30, 2017, the company is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms.
